The main objective of INTEGRADDE is to enable the zero-defect manufacturing of big industrial parts in Direct Energy Deposition (DED) technologies. In order to achieve this aim, INTEGRADDE addresses the development of an intelligent data-driven AM pipeline, enabling data flow for a seamless integration across the entire value chain, i.e. from product design to the final manufactured and assembled component. INTEGRADDE combines automatic topological algorithms for optimised design, multi-scale modelling providing feedback for optimising the set-up configuration process, automated hardware-independent process planning, online control and distributed NDT for the manufacturing of certified metal parts. In this regard, a self-adaptive control will be adopted focused on the implementation of non-propagation of defects strategy. Moreover, through data analytics extracted from the Digital Thread continuous refinement and completion of process prediction tools and assisting in the design optimisation of new metal parts will be implemented.Cybersecurity is endorsed by implementing blockchain assuring data protection and security at each step of the AM pilot lines workflow.
