Learning expedition to Seville

Seville´s learning expedition will allow European SME´s from textile, aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors to know the Andalusian Aerospace Sector. SMEs will have the opportunity to visit one of the most important aerospace technology centers in Europe, CATEC, and to know some companies and Andalucía Aerospace Cluster.
Seville is the third aeronautical pole in Europe. The Andalusian Aerospace Sector is made up of 129 companies, with a turnover of 2,530 million € and 15.931 professionals employed. It is mainly located in Seville (94 companies) and Cádiz (25 companies) area. It contributes or 1.57% Andalusian GDP. The sector is quite diverse in its typology. According with the main, you can find companies of mechanical activities and tooling (35 companies), of engineering and consulting (29), services (23), electrical and electronic equipment (11), testing (11), assemblies (10), general aviation (4), composite materials (3), tractors (2) and space (2). The majority of sector is dedicated to aerostructures (47%), services represent a 38%, 1% corresponds to engines, 6% to equipment and systems, while space is around 1%. At the supply chain level, equipment and systems reach 6% and the engines 2%.
