Expression of Interest
The INTEGRADDE project has launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) Call oriented to European Manufacturing SMEs and Midcaps willing to implement Metal Additive Manufacturing solutions in their production process.
The major goal of INTEGRADDE is to develop a novel end-to-end Digital Additive Manufacturing solution capable of demonstrating the potential of Directed Energy Deposition (DED) processes for the manufacturing of certified large metal components in strategic metalworking sectors.
INTEGRADDE aims to open Additive Manufacturing processes based on DED technologies [i.e. Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) for manufacturing of complex geometries in medium-sized components with higher accuracy, and Wire-Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) for simpler geometries with higher deposition rates] to potential adopters by providing services and demonstration activities as a proof-of-concept and technology adoption de-risking postponing the need of large investments on infrastructure and capacities to latter stages and, thus, fostering the uptake of AM in EU industry ecosystem.
This Expression of Interest (EoI) will select 5 Manufacturing European SMEs or Midcaps willing to implement Metal Additive Manufacturing solutions in their production processes by receiving the INTEGRADDE services. The selected companies will receive a series of free services, provided by the INTEGRADDE Open Pilot Lines Network out of their catalogue.
The Open Pilot Line Network is conformed by 4 RTOs with complementary schemes and AM processes:
• AIMEN Technology Centre: owning different robot-based cells for LMD-powder (LMD-p).
• WEST: owning different robot-based cells for WAAM and LMD-wire (LMD-w).
• CEA: provides access to robot-based workstation for WAAM and different equipment for inspection of AM components.
• IREPA: owning CNC-based cells for LMD-p and robot-based LMD-w with capability to process Titanium.
One additional beneficiary will receive these services from MX3D, the innovation leader in 3D metal printing and partner of INTEGRADDE.
